Lisa Altman, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, at the age of 56. Born on October 22, 1969, in Cape Town, South Africa, Lisa was a radiant soul whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of everyone she met.

Lisa was the cherished wife of Mitchell Charron, with whom she shared a deep and devoted connection to for the past 21 years. Together, they shared a remarkable life full of laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.

Lisa was born to be an extraordinary mother, and she did exactly that. She poured her heart into raising her daughter, Jayden, supporting her dreams and aspirations while being her biggest cheerleader. Lisa and Jayden’s love for each other was boundless and unbreakable.

Born to Dianne and Leon Altman, Lisa was the beloved sister of Nigel (Susan) and Raymond (Brenda), and twin sister to Suzanne (Harold). She was a loving aunt to Gabby (Evan), Danielle, Max, Rachel, Elisheva, Lily, Maya, Adam (Angel), Ori and Milo. The bond she shared with her family was one of love, strength, and resiliency.

Lisa’s passion for caring for others extended beyond her family. As a dedicated homecare worker, she devoted years to serving elderly families, bringing comfort and companionship to those in need. Her empathy and kindness were evident in every interaction, and she had an uncanny ability to make others feel heard and valued. Lisa’s work was not just a job; it was a calling, and she approached it with the same love and dedication that she gave to her family.

An avid animal lover, Lisa had a special place in her heart for all of her furry friends, especially her beloved dog, Jake.  Lisa’s love for animals mirrored her nurturing spirit, and she advocated for their well-being with the same fervor she showed for her loved ones.

As we gather to celebrate Lisa’s life, we remember her as a loving, empathetic, and caring partner and mother. She had a unique ability to uplift those around her, always encouraging others to pursue their dreams and be their best selves.
