She wrote me to advise you that she had also included special remarks for. you,Dr. Cohen's children ,but she had somehow not been able to transfer her message for you onto her initial condolences and she asked me to apologize to you in her stead. Dr. Cohen was so kind to me as a new Jewish doctor in Hamilton especially one time in Shul where he provided me with excellent advice. To the Cohen Family: I was saddened to hear of.Dr. Cohen's passing. I have fond memories of him from Hamilton and I also introduced him to a lovely friend from North Ireland and he hired her as his assistant. Her name was Milly Boyd. They had a beautiful office relationship a nd when she moved out it the city to be married, he was beside himself. When he and his wife went to Israel they always brought her a meaningful piece of Judaica. All these many decades later, I am in touch with Milly and her husband, Nigel. I will send her a message to relay the news of her favourite dear Canadian Jewish employer. She will be saddened to hear that her Dr.Harry Cohen is gone. I saw him and his dear late wife at a program a number of years ago at the BAYT where she was manning the welcome table. May your beautiful memories of your father sustain you. It seems like a few minutes ago when he walked into my aunt Goldie Robins kitchen to find her in the middle of piercing my teenage ears and then horrified that a year later, his very sensible assistant, my friend Milly, had sat in the very same kitchen, where my Aunt Goldie's eldest daughter, pierced Milly's ears with me in attendance.
