Ely Genah was born and raised in Toronto before moving to Barrie to raise his family. Ely is survived by his three children, Mandi, Nicole, and Justin, and his wife, Sherri Genah (Britten). He is also survived by his brother Ben, and predeceased by his brother Martin. Ely was a cherished son of his predeceased parents, Balfour and Rosa ז״ל. Surrounded by family at his bedside, Ely passed far too soon on April 6th at the age of 64 and his presence will be forever missed. Uncle to Jason, Aimee, Tyler, Kailee, and Danny, Ely has touched many lives, and his impact will not soon be forgotten. May Eitan’s strength and humour live on through those he loved.
