Janice Helene (Lamster) Flisfeder (January 7, 1952 – April 23, 2026)

Janice Flisfeder, 74, Thornhill, passed on April 23, 2026, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

She was born in Toronto on January 7, 1952 to Morris and Ethel Lamster.

Beloved wife, mother, bubby, and sister, she is survived by her husband, Avrum, sons, Matthew, Marc, and Steven, daughters-in-law, Robyn, Anna, and Hailey, grandchildren, Lilah, Ellie, and Zane, and sisters Beverley Koven and Carolyn Kay. She will also be missed her extended family and her grandpuppy, Sadie.

A proud and dedicated early childhood educator, Janice’s lively, generous, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dear Family, We were out of town and were deeply saddened to learn of Janice’s passing upon our return. We have been neighbours (live directly across the street) at 44 Janesville Road for many years. Janice was a warm, friendly, passionate person who was always a pleasure to chat with. She loved our family dog, Ivy, and always stopped to pet her and play when we were walking by. Ivy was very fond of Janice too!!!! She will be missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Janice’s family and friends on this profound loss.
