Liat Burstein passed peacefully on May 9th, surrounded by the love of her family.
Liat was a beautiful soul who lived vicariously through her children and gave everything she had to making sure they had the best life possible. Her legacy lives on through her three remarkable children Orri, Kalen, and Romi , each of whom carries a piece of her warmth, her strength, and her fierce love forward into the world.
She was the steady heart of our family, and the partner who stood beside her husband Michael through everything they built together. Whatever the project, whatever the challenge, she was there supporting, believing, and making it all possible. They were a team in the truest sense.
Liat is survived by her husband Michael, her children Orri, Kalen, and Romi, her parents Jacob & Esther her sister-in-law Jordanna and brother Shai, niece and nephew Rylee and Ethan and her aunt Judy and uncles Moshe and Danny who sat with her through her final days.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2PM at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park, 5822 Bathurst Street, North York, ON M2R 1Y6, Section 19. Shiva will follow at the family home.
