Lorraine Harriette Rubin (née Swadron) passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at Henley House at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Allan Aubrey Rubin, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Freedman and June Swadron, and by her sister-in-law, Elaine Griver. Dear sister of Howard Swadron.
Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Steven and Laurie Rubin, Lori and Michael Ricer, Bradley and Jane Rubin, Jodi and Michael Kalman, and Jennifer and Craig Box. Proud and devoted grandmother of Rachel and Noah, Tyler and Sherry, Lauren and Kyle, Bethany, Jessica and Daniel, Jordan, Zoe, Jenna, Shane, and Melissa. Adored great-grandmother of Zev, Mia, Ari, Leo, and Lylah. Lorraine was a devoted animal lover who had a special place in her heart for animals throughout her life. Lorraine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and all those whose lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing.
