I was truly shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Bob’s passing. 💔 As a PSW at Aspira Kensington, I had the privilege of caring for Bob and seeing him throughout my time there. There were times when I worked on the same floor where he lived, and when he was still able to walk, I remember how easy he was to work with. He was such a kind, gentle, and approachable person. I will especially remember the little moments in the dining room. Whenever I was helping other residents get ready and seated for their meals, Bob would always greet me. Those simple greetings may have seemed like small moments, but they meant something, and they are memories I will carry with me. One thing I learned from Bob was to be brave. I also remember how much he cared for his wife and how deeply concerned and saddened he was because she was sick. Knowing that they have both now passed away makes this loss especially heartbreaking. Before I left Aspira Kensington to continue my work in Ottawa, I heard that Bob had been sent to the hospital. I never imagined that the next time I would hear about him would be under such sad circumstances. As a PSW, we meet so many residents throughout our careers, but there are certain people who leave a special impression on us. Bob was one of those people. I am grateful that, in my own small way, I had the opportunity to care for him, speak with him, and be part of his days at Aspira. My deepest condolences to Bob’s family, friends, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and caring for him. May you find comfort in the memories of his kindness, his strength, and the love he shared with those around him. I knew my cousin Bob since we were children in London . I was at his bar mitzvah and he was at mine . I was at a family gathering in Rochester when he met Judy . Bob was a very kind and gentle man . I was saddened when cousin Candy told me of Bob’s passing but he’ll continue to live in the memories of his children and grandchildren . I have a photo from my bar mitzvah that Bob is in and so is Aunt Sadie . I’ll have a copy made and send it to the 679 Briar Hill Ave . MAY Bob rest in peace .

Dear Debbie, Nathan and Susie, My sincerest condolences to you and your families. I have such fond memories of your dad and mom's visits to Ottawa to see Bess, Casey and our family. He always had this huge greeting of "Aunt Bess!" when he visited and the biggest hugs. His zest for life was infectious. May his memory be a blessing.
